April Kuzas

April Kuzas joins MODUS after holding senior positions in marketing and sales for companies located in and around New York City. The founder of a non-profit healthcare advocacy group in the New York City area, she has worked for years on issues of public health to increase access and quality of care.

She has directed many political campaigns on local, state and national levels, and was Regional Field Director in New Hampshire during the 2008 Presidential primaries. In addition to directing all field operations, she created fierce, effective budgeting and marketing strategies, including social media, grassroots and community activism and traditional external media.

Community activism is dear to April’s heart. She is a founding trustee and former Vice-President of the Washington Park Association of Hudson County, and was a State court appointed member on the Child Placement Review Board, advocating for the rights of abused and neglected children.  She is a frequent public speaker on public health and environmental issues.
